Call for nomination for Board of Directors

Dear Property Owner, April 15, 2026

The 2026 Parkside at Slaughter Creek Annual Meeting will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, on Teams Meeting with sign-in at 5:45 PM and meeting at 6:00 PM. In preparation for the meeting, the Board of Directors is requesting Property Owners as candidates for Director positions being vacated. There are two (2) positions available for 2026, with the terms of Board members Stacy Klaus and John Martinez expiring.

Please note that the position of a Board member entails some amount of time and work; the Board has prepared the below information as an informal “job description” to include but not be limited to the following:

Purpose of Position

The Board of Directors manages the general affairs and business of the Association. The Directors in all cases act collaboratively as a Board to manage the Association as they may deem proper, consistent with the Covenants, Codes, Restrictions, and the Bylaws of the Association and as applicable to state law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Share skills, knowledge, and experience to the Association’s benefit. - Maintain knowledge of current contracts and covenants of the Association. - Assist in recruiting and supporting volunteers, committee members, and board members. - Monitor, review and approve policies, program goals, and annual budget. - Chair Board committees, as needed. - Partner with the Community Manager and other board members to ensure that board resolutions are carried forward. - Represent Parkside to stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for the Association. Board Terms/Participation:

Board members serve for a three (3) year term. Board meetings occur Quarterly.

This will allow us to complete the Ballot.
